Wow so blogging every month is a little harder then I thought!
Here is a quite update of our lovely growing girls!
Emmy 8 months today. She is army crawling everywhere. She is into shoes and the fireplace, two things she can't eat. Finally is whined, "on to number three" as Brady says. Has her two bottom teeth and loves to brush them. She loves to eat and is trying all shorts of new food. She can barley hold still this is the best 8 month picture I could get and I took a ton.
Aspen, Emmy's second mother, is so helpful. She is my little poser. She is still so sweet but has her REALLY bad days and her WONDERFUL days. Sometimes I think she is two people, Brady says welcome to his world, whatever that means. She loves school, going to GiGi's every wed., and anything outside.
I feel blessed to be a mother to these wonderful girls who teach me so much about life and about myself. My cousins wife (which inspires me through her amazing blog posts and makes me want to be a better person by reading them) recommended an amazing book, Mother's of the Prophet's, that I have loved and has been very inspiring. It made me thing about all the wonderful mother's in my life and the mother that I am. But especially the mother that I want my kids to remember me as someday. Some of those things are: I hope they know how much i love them, I love the Savior, I love to laugh, have fun, and be silly, kind, serve, strong and not afraid to do what is right when it's hard, they can always come to me, and many more that I don't need to write because the list is pretty long. I know I have some of these wonderful qualities and many more that I got from the examples of my wonderful mom, grandma, nana, and great grandma's. I hope to continue to develop many more. It's it amazing to be a mother, even through all the hard days, somehow those you just don't remember or can laugh about them later.

Wow I can't believe 2011 is over! Brady and I have been thinking and talking a lot about how time and life goes by way to fast and is way to short. It is so true about living life in the moment or it will pass you by.
We had an amazing December. We are so lucky to spend it with a ton of family, doing fun things all the time, and it makes it hard to do anything constructive.

The next week Brady gave a beautiful priesthood baby blessing to Emmy. We were grateful for all the family and friends who were able to come and support her
The rest of December was filled with parties and family time.

Thanksgiving
I got to spend a girls night out with girlfriends at Carly's wedding. I miss them so much! Even though it was short (I still have the earliest curfew, I'm still nursing) it was fun.
Emmy relaxing under the CabanaWe have so many things to be thankful for I couldn't even begin to list them all.
We rotate families for Thanksgiving and this year it was our turn to spend it with my family. We weren't sure if it was going to happen because they go to Cancun every year. At the last minute we found tickets (which wasn't easy) and decided to go. We surprised my siblings and they were definately surprised. I went on Monday and Brady on Tuesday. We all did great even though Aspen had an ear infection, it was Emmy's first time flying, and my first time flying by myself with two kids. They couldn't have been more perfect it was the airlines that made it stressful. A long story made short they don't make it easy to fly with infants! I didn't bring my cell, I can't use it international and I didn't bring a credit card, just some cash. I had already paid for Emmy's ticket and when we got there they said I didn't, blah, blah, blah. I am just so glad I had a prompting from the Holy Ghost and listened. I wrote down the Sommers number (we were on the same flight) right as I was getting dropped off at the airport, just in case. They ended up paying for the ticket and we barely made it. But it was smooth from there.

We had a great Thanksgiving and got the best from both sides of the family.
These pictures should be the other way around

I'm not big on scenic pictures but this was the first time I have ever seen two rainbow together like this.
The much needed nap time. They are so cute when they are asleep.
