Thanksgiving

I got to spend a girls night out with girlfriends at Carly's wedding. I miss them so much! Even though it was short (I still have the earliest curfew, I'm still nursing) it was fun.

Emmy relaxing under the Cabana

We have so many things to be thankful for I couldn't even begin to list them all.
We rotate families for Thanksgiving and this year it was our turn to spend it with my family. We weren't sure if it was going to happen because they go to Cancun every year. At the last minute we found tickets (which wasn't easy) and decided to go. We surprised my siblings and they were definately surprised. I went on Monday and Brady on Tuesday. We all did great even though Aspen had an ear infection, it was Emmy's first time flying, and my first time flying by myself with two kids. They couldn't have been more perfect it was the airlines that made it stressful. A long story made short they don't make it easy to fly with infants! I didn't bring my cell, I can't use it international and I didn't bring a credit card, just some cash. I had already paid for Emmy's ticket and when we got there they said I didn't, blah, blah, blah. I am just so glad I had a prompting from the Holy Ghost and listened. I wrote down the Sommers number (we were on the same flight) right as I was getting dropped off at the airport, just in case. They ended up paying for the ticket and we barely made it. But it was smooth from there.

We had a great Thanksgiving and got the best from both sides of the family.

These pictures should be the other way around

When we got back we got to spend some time with Mahlie and Tori who were visiting from Virgina.

Living it up in Cancun and relaxing under the cabana

Beautiful sunset

The best looking girls ever!

I'm not big on scenic pictures but this was the first time I have ever seen two rainbow together like this.

The much needed nap time. They are so cute when they are asleep.

Me swimming with the family and reading under the cabana with Emmy.

Thanksgiving

Emmy's first Thanksgiving

The Sunday before we left I made a Thanksgiving dinner. I did everything but a real turkey I did turkey cutlets instead. I'm not sure I will make those again. It isn't that much work when you are only feeding four people :)

Aspen was so excited to wear her hat she made at school.

PS I'm still learning how to blog the pictures never seem to be in the right spot :)

October

One of my favorite months of the whole year, HALLOWEEN!!
Of course we did all the fun stuff that Halloween brings.

Trick or Treating with Cousins Kayley and Sam

Fun Glow in the dark Jammies.

Church Trunk or Treat Party

Halloween Party's

We had a fun party outside with friends and watched Charlie Brown when it got dark.

Katie and I

Carving Pumpkins

Aspen and I hard at work. Well mostly me, she only wanted to touch the knifes and carving tools. She didn't want anything to do with cleaning out the pumpkin. She picked a fun cat to carve. Aspen said the cat was cute, and dad's was scary.

Old McDonald's Farm (a fun pumpkin patch, also a train and animals) with preschool group. Once again Aspen didn't want to get dirty or touch the animals.

She did ride the pony and she loved it.

Some of the preschool group getting ready to go in.

The famous family pumpkin patch picture.

We had a lot of family visit this month so Emmy meet a lot of people first time.

Shaunice

Grandpa Dee. Aspen was so worried about Grandpa Dee the whole time, about where he is and were he was sleeping, etc. She was also a little disappointed that he didn't bring the horses for her to ride.

Melyssa AKA "Melya"

We had an amazing spiritual experience with a community fast for rain. It hasn't rained this hard in a LONG time, maybe 6 months. We got our rain boots and rain coats on and played in it. Now everytime it rains Aspen wants to go play in.

Our cute pumkin hats that Amy made us. It was a fun surprise to open the package and see one for me too.

Can't wait until next Halloween!!

We started the month off right and went to the temple. It felt so good to go since it had been way to long. I went with my mom and it worked out perfect, she watched the girls first and then we switched. Aspen went in to use the bathroom and couldn't stop talking about how she got to go to ("in") the temple.

New Baby

One Month

Right after Emmy was born

It has been awhile. I don't do much but I don't have time to do anything!!

Emmy Naomi Warr was born on September 13, 2011. She weighted 6.5lbs and 18 1/2 inches. Deciding on her name very hard for us, but we finally decided about 5 min. before turning in the papers for her SS# and leaving the hospital. I know isn't that pathetic!

Here are some newborn pictures we took, Debbie did a great job!
