Life as a single mom

Brady has been out of town vacationing, or if you want you can call it working, for two weeks in Japan. I'm not bitter at all ha ha. It is up on the list of places I want to go to hopefully someday we can go back together.
The girls have been pretty good until today. I'm counting down the hours until he gets home and then I'm off to get a pedicure and manicure all by myself with no one to talk to me or call me mama. I can't wait!
It's amazing what gets down and doesn't get down when your husbands gone for that long. I've accomplished a lot of crafts. To name a few, 3 wreaths, most of the friendie friday crafts, 15ish sewing outfits, conference board, felt scripture board, and all stop there.
I have a more appreciation for single moms and Brady. Raising kids is a two man show even if the husband or wife is gone to work.
Aspen and Emmy have learned how far they can push me and they sure do work it. In the last two weeks I've seen some characteristics that I'm scared of in the future. Hopefully I can learn to channel and they choose to use those for good. I'm glad today is over I wasn't a nice mom today at all. Time to sleep and restart tomorrow.

Branson

We went on a fun family trip to Branson with Brady's family this year. The last time the whole family has been together was our wedding which was 7 1/2 years ago, a crazy thought. We sure have grown since then! Here are some fun pictures of the trip
 Moonshine beach

I've always wanted to do the Skyline

Rollercoasters and the park. Aspen just wanted to go faster with her hands up. Emmy loved it too and of course loved to eat all day long.

 Tubbing and swimming

Who says you can't ski or wakeboard behind a pantoon boat, We did it!

 Cousins
Family Pictures I don't think they ever get easy no matter how old people are!
Ok City
These pictures are a little out of order. We stopped at OK City before we went to Bransen. It is always fun staying in a hotel for a couple of nights with the girls. We eat lots of good food, we to the science muesum which they loved. I wish I could say the next two pictures(the ones where they are sleeping) is what they did the whole way there but they didn't. I actually think those are pictures on the way home, a rare moment. Emmy did and wanted everything Aspen did or had. It was a long 10hr drive there. Emmy screamed the whole way, later we found out she was getting two teeth, I guess that is why. We won't be taking any road trips for awhile!

This is really what the ride looked like!!

Vegas Babe!

One of the wonderful trips I had this summer, Vegas with my eternal girl friends. We have been friends for over 15years. It was great to eat, shop, swim, lay out, see a show, a little gambling, but mostley just hanging out and talk. Almost everyone could come but due to baby's and other life events there were some that didn't make it and we sure missed you. It was fun but when everone isn't there you can tell there is a hole. And of course there are always stories when we get together, the resturant.
