Wow so blogging every month is a little harder then I thought!
Here is a quite update of our lovely growing girls!
Emmy 8 months today. She is army crawling everywhere. She is into shoes and the fireplace, two things she can't eat. Finally is whined, "on to number three" as Brady says. Has her two bottom teeth and loves to brush them. She loves to eat and is trying all shorts of new food. She can barley hold still this is the best 8 month picture I could get and I took a ton.
Aspen, Emmy's second mother, is so helpful. She is my little poser. She is still so sweet but has her REALLY bad days and her WONDERFUL days. Sometimes I think she is two people, Brady says welcome to his world, whatever that means. She loves school, going to GiGi's every wed., and anything outside.
I feel blessed to be a mother to these wonderful girls who teach me so much about life and about myself. My cousins wife (which inspires me through her amazing blog posts and makes me want to be a better person by reading them) recommended an amazing book, Mother's of the Prophet's, that I have loved and has been very inspiring. It made me thing about all the wonderful mother's in my life and the mother that I am. But especially the mother that I want my kids to remember me as someday. Some of those things are: I hope they know how much i love them, I love the Savior, I love to laugh, have fun, and be silly, kind, serve, strong and not afraid to do what is right when it's hard, they can always come to me, and many more that I don't need to write because the list is pretty long. I know I have some of these wonderful qualities and many more that I got from the examples of my wonderful mom, grandma, nana, and great grandma's. I hope to continue to develop many more. It's it amazing to be a mother, even through all the hard days, somehow those you just don't remember or can laugh about them later.
